Matchless G-50 "prototype replica"
This particular bike was disassembled after delivery to Tony Metz, at that time owner of the Berkeley Scooter Shop, and was reassembled some years later into the form shown here by noted Matchless collector and authority Ken Seavy.
The BRG paint job on the fuel tank shown here was the original paint job! Note belt drive generator at the cylinder base, with power takeoff from the engine sprocket, and enclosed primary drive. Headlamp is 7 1/2" Lucas flatback (BSA Rocket 3) with Dunstall brackets and Blowtaco low rise handlebars (which clip on to the fork tubes).
