The tank, that beautiful, perfect Bonnie tank was done by old pal, John Walden, formerly of Oakland California, Key Largo Florida, and now near Olympia Washington (where it is DEFinitely the water, and lots of it). The tank was so perfect when John brought it that it lived for some weeks atop the Grand Piano in the front room with its own little light. John has been working in wood for years and along the way has developed SEVERE talent in finishes.

The oil tank is the Kosman racing classic . The Eelectrics feature a recycled Moto Riceroni Shindegan regulator-rectifier unit, hand-made all-soldered wiring harness. This has a discrete ground, alternator-capacitor/no-battery electrical system.

The headlight was fab'd from a PO-lice spotlight, rescued from a family Bluesmobile Dodge that has gone to its rest (destroyed by a teenage GIRL, if you can believe it but thats 'nother story) and carrys a 55 Watt automotive Halogen sealed beam.

The frame finish was a shot-in-the-dark experiment in the early 70s, a fairly rough sand blast, then nickle plated. It has aged to a unique (and beautiful- just ask him!) subdued and subtle and very special patina.

Engine sports Boyer ignition, 38mm CV Mikunis carbs, JOMO 15 spec cams from Megacycle (98.5 LC intake, 104 exhaust), 9:1 Hepolites +.020" over (smallest the engine has been since it was born). Crank and rods are '69 T120, '70 oil system and breather mods have been made.

A Routt cylinder barrel and Arias pistons are on the bench, waiting for the snow to fly. The cylinder head is a wonderful piece done by Brian Bethel, currently a North Idaho resident, formerly a wrench for Ed Kretz.

The siamezed exhaust is from a '63 Thunderbird, the twin mirrors were added this year to keep the Washington State Peetrol at bay while attending the Vashon Island TT.
